Pippi-muddar

Quick translation: New wristworms, and a new pattern to come. In Sweden we call this kind of stripes for Pippi-stripes after Pippi Longstocking. What do you call them in your countries? Are they even common in other countries?

  2. This pattern looks very nice! I have not seen it in Germany before, but in swedish newspaper. One time there was a commercial for swedish coffee, with a very nice sweater in white with red stripes like this. I like it very much and had in my mind to knit a similar one time. I am not sure, but perhaps I have heart that it is the traditional pattern of gotland fisherman sweaters. But Pippi-muddar sounds very cute.
Best wishes for your project.I am looking forward for more fotos. Greetings from Germany!
